Biography:
Artist Corinne Silva is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Photography and the Archive Research Centre, University of the Arts London. She was artist-in-residence at Aktuelle Architektur Der Kultur, Centro Negra, Murcia, Spain (2015); Kaunas Photography Gallery, Lithuania, (2014); and A.M. Qattan Foundation, Ramallah, (2013 and 2014). In 2014 she received a Triangle International Fellowship. In 2012 she was a nominee of the Foam Paul Huf Award and a Mack First Book Award finalist. About the residency:
During her time as artist in residence at Kaunas Photography Gallery, Corinne Silva developed and edited her book project Garden State. The book relates to her solo exhibition of the same name, and will be published by Ffotogallery and The Mosaic Rooms, in partnership with UAL Photography and the Archive Research Centre, in 2015.
