        LINIONIS

              Born on 21 of August, 1951 in Marijampolė. In 1969 graduated from second elementary school, in 1974 – Kaunas Institute of Politechnics, where he gained engineering – mechanics diploma. From 1974 to 1982 was working in Kapsukas (Marijampolė) food industry automatic factory as an engineer – constructor. Since 1974 was head of „Sūduva“ photoclub, from 1982 to 1995 was head of Marijampolė Photography Gallery. Since 1999 works in Marijampolė Local Lore Museum. In 1979 became a member of Lithuanian Photographers Union. In 1994 was given the name of International Federation of Photographic Art (AFIAP), in 2005 was given status of the artist. Many photographs are featured in publishing.

              Photography series (some still in process): „Creators“, „City near Šešupė“, „Reconstruction“, „People of Sūduva“, „Homeland“ (Shining of the Darkness), „Monuments for people and work“, „Romanas Krasninkevičius: life – graphic“, „Monumets for Vytautas the Great“, „Fragments“ and many others.

              Exhibitions. Participated is various exhibitions organized by Lithuanian Photographers Association both in Lithuania and abroad. Arranged four republican photography exhibitions on local lore studies, ten comical photography exhibitions, personal exhibitions in Vilnius, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Klaipėda and Marijampolė photography galleries, Šiauliai Photography Museum, Kokkola (Finland), Bergish Gladbach (Germany), Vyborg (Denmark), Kaunas Maironis Museum, Utena and Zarasai Local Lure museums, Alytus movie theatre, Punsk, Sejny (Poland), Jurbarkas Local Lure museum, Marijampolė and  Vilkaviškis culture centers, „Spindulys“ movie theatre , Local Lure museum (Marijampolė, Lihuania). Has held over 70 personal exhibitions.
